A classic children’s tale comes to life at Nottingham Playhouse this month as an alternative to the traditional pantomime.

Once upon a time the spoilt Princess Fenella stole a beautiful golden ball to play with in the palace gardens, but dropped it and lost it
Thankfully, Filbert the Frog came to help her, but on one condition — he wanted to be allowed into the palace.
And so began their most unlikely friendship…
The Princess And The Frog is a magical re-telling of the classic Brothers Grimm tale about friendship and the making and breaking of promises.
It is brought to the Playhouse by the same team that created 2015’s Hare And Tortoise.
Suitable for those aged four to eight, the show is full of action, music, songs and a chance for everyone to get involved.
Tickets cost £30 for three people with a maximum of two adults or £40 for four people with a maximum of two adults.
There are relaxed performances on Friday, December 9, at 1.15pm and Wednesday, December 28, at 10.30am.
