Family-friendly Gloworm Festival set for Clumber Park

The Gloworm FestivalDick and Dom will headline Saturday evening at the Gloworm Festival with a DJ set.
A family-friendly festival takes place at Clumber Park this weekend featuring a combination of music, arts and entertainment.
The Gloworm Festival line-up includes children’s television characters and entertainers performing live, as well as a host of bands.
Music starts on the main stage at 11am on Saturday and Sunday and continues throughout the day.
The main stage is headlined on Saturday night by comedy double act Dick And Dom — Richard McCourt and Dominic Wood — who will be performing a DJ set from 6pm.
Headliners on Sunday evening will be the band Toploader, who have sold more than 2m albums and whose biggest hit was Dancing In The Moonlight.
Also on the main stage on Sunday is Nottingham band The Half Eight, which has two members originally from Wellow.
The Big Top features an appearance by Peppa Pig, Johnny and the Raindrops and Mr Bloom, and Thomas The Tank Engine will also appear at intervals during Saturday.
In the woodland is a Wonderland Party where there is a Mad Hatter’s table for drinks.
Throughout the site there will be various activities, games and workshops — including drumming, dancing, cooking and arts — as well as a miniature petting farm.
