Newark Festival 2014 guide: Union J, The Human League and Rough Copy play at Riverside Park
Newark Festival begins on Friday, June 20, with 80s pop legends The Human League joining X Factor stars Union J, Rough Copy and Luke Friend at the three-day event.
The action begins when gates open at 5.30pm on Friday. Several support acts take the stage before Rough Copy (7.50pm start), Luke Friend (8.35 start) and Union J (9.30pm start) entertain the crowd.
On Saturday, gates are open from 4pm and the evening has a very 1980s feel. Heaven 17 start their performance at 6.30pm, followed by Marc Almond (7.30pm) and then The Human League (9pm).
There is an eclectic mix on Sunday, including a Postman Pat live show, the Newark Choral Society and a firework display.
In the run-up to the event, Rough Copy visited Magnus Academy in Newark

Weekend tickets are £30 single and £100 for a family (two adults and two children) covering Friday and Saturday.
Curfew on all three days is 10.15pm.
Single night tickets are £25 for Union J, £29.50 for The Human League, or £75 for a family ticket (two adults and two children) for either night.
