Newark Flowserve Reserves scored nine minutes from time to defeat Castle Barge 95, 5-4.
Newark Flowserve Reserves withstood a strong fightback to beat Castle Barge 95 5-4.
They were 4-1 ahead in the second-half, but three goals saw them pegged back before they grabbed a winner nine minutes from time.
Jason Driver, Robin Burton-Wareing and Michael Williams gave Flowserve a first-half advantage.
Bottom-of-the-table Castle Barge kept themselves in the game with an Alex Davidson strike.
Danny Wilson put Flowserve further in front, but a left-footed Tommy Dowd strike, an effort from outside the box by Dom Gale that flew into the top corner and Davidson’s second levelled the match for Castle Barge.
Dowd missed from the spot as Barge chased a winner, and they were made to pay when Macauley Nicholson sealed the points for Flowserve.
Good finishing from AFC Farnsfield saw them overcome Evolution in an entertaining 5-3 victory.
Their goals came from Callum Atkinson (2) Jake Boulton, John Haywood and Daniel Weiss.
Harry Collins, Ryan Horton and Jack Salmon had ensured Evolution were level with their opponents at half-time but Farnsfield went on to seal the win.
Walesby missed chances as they secured a 2-2 draw against top-of-the-table RHP Social Reserves.
They were behind at the break through a Joe Brumpton goal and he added another in the second-half.
Josh Jackson and substitute Dominic Hammond salvaged a point for Walesby.
