BASKETBALL: Trent Tornadoes Under-14s lost their first game of the season when they went down 53-24 against Derby.

Newark held their opponents in the first quarter of a highly competitive game but Derby’s strength in depth proved to be the deciding factor, with them being able to field two strong rotations of five.
