THE FUNERAL of a co-founder of Sherwood Laboratories Ltd in Newark took place in a packed Newark Parish Church on June 9. Mrs Pauline Ann Bagley, 64, of Rectory Street, Beckingham, died at home on May 29. She had had breast cancer since 2005. Born in Mansfield, she was educated at Rosemary Street and Cumberlands schools in the town. She moved to Devon in 1972 and then to the Newark area in 1983. She loved gardening, family holidays, socialising and playing darts. She retired from the laboratory in 2005. She leaves a widower, Mr David Bagley, daughter Sharon, son Glyn and grandchildren Kit, Lexi and Vaughan. The funeral service was conducted by Canon Philip Humphries. The undertaker was E. Gill and Sons. A total of £920 was raised for Breast Cancer in lieu of flowers. EATON - On April 13, 2010, passed away peacefully in Clumber Court Care Home, after a long illness, Pauline Mary (nee Harper), aged 73 years. Dearly loved wife of Mike, stepmother to John and Mark and step- grandmother to Alice, Louise and James. A service of Thanksgiving will take place at All Saints' Church, Sutton-on-Trent, on Friday, May 14, at 12.30pm, following a family cremation service at Sherwood Forest Crematorium.
