More parking spaces will be found in Newark to cope with the disruption caused by the redevelopment of the Potterdyke carpark, district councillors were told yesterday.

The cabinet member with responsibility for health and homes, which includes carparks, Mr David Payne, told the overview and scrutiny committee they were planning to use the old cattle market site, and were looking at another area yet to be confirmed.
