A ceremony took place at Cromwell Weir on Sunday to remember ten soldiers who lost their lives at the site 39 years ago.

During the service by the memorial, organised by the Newark branch of the Parachute Regimental Association, prayers were led by the Vicar of the Beck and Trent Churches, the Rev Christine French.
