A disabled pensioner was still in a blood-stained gown the day after an operation at King’s Mill Hospital.

It was part of what Mrs Anita Whitlock, 71, of Ash Road, Newark, described as a three-week nightmare stay at the hospital in Sutton-in-Ashfield, during which she said she had also been left lying in a urine-soaked bed for up to 2½ hours.
