An actor who has appeared on television in Coronation Street, Eastenders, and Doctor Who will be the headline act at the latest Big Comedy Night at Leadenham.
It takes place at the George Hotel on Friday, from 7.30pm.
“Let’s set 2018 off with a massive side splitter,” said Michael Willgoose, the George landlord.
“We have been hosting the Comedy for well over a year now and every time we have sold out to capacity.”
Top of the bill is stand-up comic, writer and actor Gareth Berliner.
Two years ago he joined Coronation Street, initially for two episodes, playing Macca but has now filmed more than 20.
Gareth has been performing stand-up comedy for 11 years across the UK and Europe.
Joining him on the bill is Thomas Green, a quick-witted comic with a knack for improvisation.
Fran Jenkins is known for his silly stories, witty banter and daft observations as he tries to make sense of life in the funniest way possible.
Completing the line-up is Yorkshireman Tom King, whose set is described as fast-moving, silly and surreal.
MC for the evening is another funnyman, Paul Mutagejja.
The Big Comedy Nights take place at the George every three months.
Tickets cost £12, including food. Seating is limited to 70 people.
