A company that provides building maintenance services to organisations such as Pizza Express and KFC has opened an office in Newark, creating 40 jobs.

Cloudfm, which has a head office in Colchester, has opened a 9,000sq ft hub on Brunel Drive, Newark Industrial Estate.

The company provides building maintenance services for large multi-site organisations, with contracts across the restaurant, retail, and education sectors, amongst others.

Its clients include brands such as Prezzo, Pizza Express, KFC, Karen Millen and Wolseley.

The Newark office comprises space for account and supply chain management, help desk, and compliance functions, as well as a training room and a base for service engineers.

Mr Jeff Dewing, chief executive of Cloudfm Group, said: “We see our new Newark site as an important step in our expansion, giving us a strategic hub that is not only in the right place for transport links, but also in the right place to give us access to talent pools in all our required skills.
