A cyclist was injured in a collision with a tractor

A cyclist suffered injuries to her face, leg and shoulder after being knocked off her bike by a tractor.

Police say the tractor driver failed to stop and are appealing for information.

The tractor was towing what was believed to be a heavy field cultivator on Friday, July 7.

A police spokesman said: "At around 12pm on the A6097 between Lowdham Island and Gunthorpe Bridge, the tractor is believed to have beeped at the cyclist, before trying to overtake her.

"Police and paramedics attended and the woman was taken to QMC.

"We believe the field cultivator being towed by the tractor was blue."

Anyone with information, or knows who the tractor driver might be, is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 391 of July 7, 2017.
