A 13-year-old girl had her long hair cut off to donate to a charity that makes wigs for poorly children.

Zuzanna Frdrych, 13, of Northgate, Newark, donated 13½ inches of hair to the Little Princess Trust. It gives wigs to youngsters who have lost their own hair because of illness.

Shannon said they were happy to help. “We love to support charities like this,” she said.
