An annual summer fair takes place today with stalls, entertainment and a flypast by a Dakota.
Bingham Summer Fair, which will be held in the Market Place from 10am to 5pm, is free to attend.
There will be community stalls, a children’s funfair, and performances by morris dancers, acrobats and local dance schools.
The Dakota flypast is planned for around 3.25pm.
The Douglas C-47 Dakota was widely used by the Allies during the second world war, and subsequently by air forces and civilian operators.
The Market Place will be closed and there will be revised bus routes with a temporary bus stop on Long Acre.
Bingham Fire Station hosts an open day from 10am to 2pm.
It will feature vehicle and equipment demonstrations, fire safety advice, vintage fire engines and a Fire Fighters Charity stall.
