Five young ballet dancers have been chosen to perform in a production of Cinderella In Hollywood at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham.
They are Lilana Audas, 10, Martha Christensen, 13, Sophie King, 13, Isabelle Mason, 14, and Lucy Willis, 12, all from East Bridgford.
They are members of Bingham School of Dance and will perform alongside international principal dancers and 95 other young dancers chosen from 350 who auditioned.
Cinderella In Hollywood is a production by the award-winning English Youth Ballet (EYB) and is set in the glamorous era of 1950s Hollywood movies, with Cinderella as a seamstress on a film set.
Lilana said: "It will be great to do the production in front of my family.
"In the future I would like to do more performances like this."
Rehearsals are taking place at Nottingham Girls’ Academy.
Brazilian principal dancer Samantha Camejo, who will be Cinderella, is training the young cast.
She said: "The young dancers are treated just like the professionals in the rehearsals with English Youth Ballet.
"They discover what having a dance career might be like — both in the studio and on the stage. It is an amazing experience for them."
Cinderella In Hollywood will be performed at the Theatre Royal Nottingham on Friday, July 20, and Saturday, July 21.
