A Message From The Headteacher I am extremely proud to welcome you to Colonel Frank Seely Academy. This website will give you an insight into what makes Colonel Frank Seely a unique learning community. All our pupils are valued as individuals with different needs, talents, strengths and aspirations.
From a PGCE student to NQT, and now Head of Performing Arts, I’ve always felt like I belong at CFSA. I have been given the opportunity to develop and hone my teaching skills in the most supportive environment, where every day is truly unique.
Mrs Sloan, Head of Performing Arts
I chose to work at CFS Academy because of the vision the school has and how they place the student at the heart of everything.
Mrs Breider, Head of Geography
Students are bright and eager to do well. The staff (including SLT) are very supportive of each other and the working culture is great.
Ms Garnett, Head of RPS
Students are respectful and approach lessons with enthusiasm, which is testament to the journey the school has been on and the direction in which we are heading.
Mrs Mosley, Teacher of Geography
The environment and ethos of the school is second to none – the academy has a lovely personable feel, the atmosphere is wonderful – a great and safe place to come to work and school each day.
Mrs Kirk, Data & Exams Manager
It is nice to work in an environment where the passion for my subject and desire to work hard are shared by all staff.

We had a visit from three times Olympian and Olympic bronze medalist Nicky Gooch (speed skater). He came to talk to students about what it takes to be a professional athlete, what he considers his non negotiable and the important lessons in life that he has earned from competing and coaching. #inspirechallengesucceed #cfsacademy #cfsfamily
