It is four years since the all-girl group, The Saturdays, were formed, redecorating the music business with their sparkingly fluorescent hyper-pop.
Tickets for next year’s Gate to Southwell Folk Festival will go on sale just before Christmas, with a line-up already extended to include the all-Scottish big night combination of Dougie MacLean and Breabach.
The Band of RAF Waddington will give a Christmas concert at the Terry O’Toole Theatre, North Hykeham, on Saturday, December 10, at 7.30pm. Conducted by Dave Jackson, there will be a selection of carols and festive songs.
A concert of Christmas music will be presented by Newark Choral Society to mark the 50th anniversary of the publication of the Carols For Choirs Book 1.
