The Janson’s match lake, known as the “Aquarium” because of its productivity, held two competitions, with the first a three-hour evening contest where, as usual, everyone caught loads of fish.

After a while in the doldrums, the Grove Ponds burst into life for the latest Sunday competition, with even the also-rans catching a couple of pounds of fish and getting plenty of bites.
