Forget everything you think you know about the circus — there was no ringmaster and no random acts here.

The following letters have been sent to the Advertiser this week.

I read with interest the Advertiser’s front page about 30 minutes’ free parking in some Newark town centre carparks.

I have read with interest letters asking about increases in council tax in the last two editions of the Advertiser.

In his letter last week, Mr Shepherd overlooked the pressing necessity of addressing climate change.

It is an insult to the public. How much shopping would one get in 30 minutes?

Our grandsons love the newly-reburbished Sherwood Avenue Play Park, Newark, as do all who couldn't wait to pile in when it re-opened recently.

Another month of disruption for those of us living near the A1 diversion routes in North Nottinghamshire .
