The latest installment of the Vampires Rock series, starring Newark’s Steve Steinman, is set to ride back into the Palace Theatre.
Vampires Rock Ghost Train is at the Newark venue on Friday, January 19.
It continues the saga of Baron Von Rockula played by Steve.
As Club Live And Let Die burns to the ground, Baron Von Rockula flees the ill-fated venue with his band of blood sucking vampires in search of a new place to live.
Eventually, they come across an old abandoned fairground ride, The Ghost Train, where they take refuge and make it their new home.
The Baron and his motley crew then set a cunning plan to lure victims into the ride and to live in rock ‘n’ roll hell forever.
The show features comedy, mayhem and fire routines, and is packed with some of the the greatest classic rock anthems.
It includes the music of Guns n Roses, AC/DC, Meat Loaf, Bon Jovi and more.
The Vampires Rock story has now been on the road for more than 15 years, with over 3,000 live performances and a million sales.
The saga continues next year when X Factor winner Sam Bailey joins the cast as the Vampire Queen.
She said: “When I was approached to play in Vampires Rock I jumped at the chance.
“I am a fan of the show and to get to cover some of the greatest classic rock songs that are featured is a chance I couldn’t miss.
“Steve Steinman has created something very special and unique and to share the stage with him will be fantastic.”
