A 10-year-old girl’s scooter was stolen from outside Southwell Leisure Centre

A ten-year-old is heartbroken after having her scooter stolen.

Rosa Knapton, of Southwell, left her scooter parked outside Southwell Leisure Centre on Monday (December 16) just before 5pm as she headed for her trampoline class.

Around 6.15pm, as Rosa and her mother Imogen Knapton left the centre, they noticed that the scooter was gone.

Imogen is now appealing to any parents whose teens were out on Monday evening to double-check if they have any information or have seen the scooter.

“She’s heartbroken as she uses it every day,” she said, “We would be really grateful if you could contact us if you find it abandoned somewhere.

“The scooter looks a bit tatty but it’s actually a decent one.

“I think the assumption is that Southwell is a safe place to live in, but apparently it isn’t.”

If anyone has the scooter or has seen it, it can be delivered to Southwell Leisure Centre anonymously.
