Around 1,500 litres of Kaiserhof beer were consumed at the eighth Bavarian Beer Festival in Bingham Leisure Centre, which marked the town’s twinning link with Wallenfels, Germany.
The beer is brewed in Kronach, near Wallenfels, and was served alongside schnapps, wine and soft drinks.
Bingham has been twinned in friendship with Wallenfels since 1984.
Around 50 people from Wallenfels, including its Burger- meister, Jens Korn, were at the festival on Friday and Saturday. A total of 500 attended.
The Wallenfels town band provided entertainment and performed in Bingham Market Place on Thursday.
Singer Brett Sinclair and a dance band made up of former Toot Hill School pupils — the Binghamfels Stompers — also performed.
Bingham Twinning Association treasurer Elizabeth Mark-wick said: “The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic.”
