All trains on the Nottingham to Lincoln line have been cancelled for today due to a large fire at Nottingham Station.
Services from Newark Northgate Station to Lincoln have not been affected.
East Midlands Trains said Nottingham Station had been evacuated and the fire services are on site working to contain the fire to re-open the station.
An East Midlands Trains spokesman said: “Emergency services have been called to the Nottingham station to deal with a fire.
"The station has been evacuated and there have been no reports of any injuries to customers or staff. We will continue to assist the emergency services in any way that we can.
“At present the station is closed and no train services are calling at Nottingham.
"This means that services on the Nottingham/London, Matlock/Nottingham/Newark, Nottingham/Mansfield/Worksop, Leicester/Lincoln/Grimbsy, Nottingham/Grantham/Skegness and Liverpool/Nottingham/Norwich routes are disrupted.
"Our current advice to customers is not to travel to or from Nottingham station.
"Passengers are advised to check www.eastmidlandstrains.co.uk for the latest travel information.
“We expect the station to remain closed and East Midlands Trains services to and from Nottingham to be disrupted throughout the rest of today, Friday 12 January."
