Dance school pupils are taking part in a show produced by a star of the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Performers from Bingham School Of Dance are rehearsing for the show, being held at Newark Palace Theatre on Sunday.
There will be 35 pupils, aged 11 to 16, joining the producer, Pasha Kovalev, and his dance partner, Anya Garnis, in his show The Magic Of Hollywood.
The Bingham pupils, aged 11 to 16, are taking part only in the Newark show, although the production is part of a nationwide tour featuring 66 performances.
Shan Jones, owner of Bingham School of Dance, said: “The pupils were thrilled when they found out they had been asked to take part in one of the shows.
“I am extremely proud of them for the commitment they show to dancing and how much effort they have and continue to put into rehearsals. It will be a great show.”
The Magic Of Hollywood is described as being packed with sequins, glitz and glamour, as Pasha takes to the stage with his dancers in performances all set to a Hollywood theme.
Pasha Kovalev is a Siberian-born dancer who specialises in ballroom and latin dance.
He has been a professional dancer on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing since 2011, dancing with celebrities including Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh, Countdown presenter Rachel Riley and television presenter Caroline Flack.
Other professional dancers in his stage show include Domenico Palmisano, Lisa Welham, Nina Geric, Valerio La Pietra and Britt Lenting.
The show starts at 7.30pm.
