A 64-year-old man dies after a single vehicle incident on the A46




A man has died after a single vehicle incident on the A46.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to an incident at Brough yesterday (Thursday) at around 2.40pm.

There were reports of a lorry leaving the road and going into a ditch. The driver died at the scene a short time after.

The A46 northbound was closed yesterday while police collision investigators carried out enquiries. It has since re-opened.

Detectives are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or believes they may have dashcam footage of the incident to call Nottinghamshire Police, quoting incident number 498 of August 29, 2019.
