Choral leader Peter Higgins will be teaching a capella supported by the Cranmer Company Of Singers




There is the chance to learn to sing a capella at a come-and-sing event at Thomas Cranmer Centre, Aslockton, on Saturday, February 1.

Supported by the Cranmer Company Of Singers it will be led by choral leader Peter Higgins.

He will teach singing techniques, breathing exercises and four-part a capella sea shanties, folk songs and rounds.

Sessions start at 10am and end at 2.45pm.

There will be a concert for family and friends from 3.30pm.

Places, which cost £20, are limited so need to be booked in advance before Tuesday.

Another come and sing event ­— John Rutter’s Requiem ­— takes place at the Thomas Cranmer Centre on Good Friday in aid of the Tear Fund Crisis Appeal.
