A1 accident inquest opens

The inquest of a man who died on the A1 slip road at Claypole is due to open this afternoon.

Mr Adam James Hodkinson, 31, of Claypole, was in collision with a Citroen Xsara Picasso, driven by a woman on the southbound slip road to the A1 at Claypole, at about 11.20pm on Sunday.

Mr Hodkinson died at the scene. The driver was unhurt but was left shaken.

The inquest, in Nottingham, will be opened by Nottinghamshire coroner Dr Nigel Chapman.
