A1 carriageway closed south of Newark following two-lorry crash

The A1 northbound is closed at Grantham following a collision between two lorries.

The crash happened just before 6.30am, just past the A52 Barrowby slip road.

Traffic is building up down the carriageway.

Highways England confirmed: "We are taking reports of a collision #A1 northbound just by the #A52 near #Grantham We can see delays starting to build there, please bear this in mind if travelling into that area today."

Injuries are not known at this time.
