A1 shut between Fernwood and Grantham due to flooding

There is more disruption from Storm Dennis this morning (Monday) as the A1 has been closed.
Highways England have shut the carriageway southbound due to flooding.
This comes after yesterday's chaos on the roads due to heavy rain, where the A1, A52 at Saxondale and A46 at East Bridgford were clsoed due to flooding caused by heavy rain.
Police are advising commuters to check their routes before setting off on the following channels:
