Flooding closes A1 northbound between North Muskham and Worksop - delays expected through Newark

The A1 northbound has closed due to flooding.

A closure on the A1 between North Muskham and Apleyhead, near Worksop, has caused tailbacks towards Fernwood.

Traffic coming off at the Fernwood roundabout is also causing delays on London Road, Balderton, towards Newark town centre.

Highways England are currently working to clear the road and have asked drivers to plan for delays.

Severe delays are expected through Newark and the surrounding villages.
