Commuters are being urged to avoid the A17 as the road is currently closed at Leadenham due to a serious collision.
The incident happened at around 2pm and Lincolnshire Police, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue and East Midlands Ambulance Service are currently at the scene.
Traffic in and around Newark is likely to be affected and Lincolnshire Police say the road is likely to be closed for some time.
