The extent of flooding in Newark has been photographed from 2,000ft.
Rob Turner took aerial photos of the flooded River Trent yesterday (January 4), which show the extent of the flooding in and around Newark.
The after-effects of Storm Henk continue to affect the area, with the Trent continuing to rise throughout the day to reach a height of 2.63m at Farndon by midnight last night.
It is currently at 2.66m — below the highest recorded level in 2000 of 2.76m.
The photographs show flooding around Kelham Road and Newark Rugby Club, Tolney Lane and Trent Villages.
Floods have caused numerous road closures and affected homes and businesses in the area.
