KIRO Aesthetics beauty salon in Tuxford named finalist in UK Hair and Beauty Awards
A beauty and aesthetics clinic in a town has been named a finalist in the prestigious UK Hair and Beauty Awards, proudly representing Nottinghamshire.
Kirsty Roberts, founder of KIRO Aesthetics, in Tuxford, is celebrating national recognition for her growing business, just one year after opening her home-based clinic in April 2024.
The awards, which celebrate excellence across the UK’s beauty industry, will hold their final in August—and Kirsty said she is ‘honoured and incredibly proud’ to be a finalist in the Best for Aesthetics category.
“This recognition means the world,” Kirsty said.
She added: “Being named a finalist for Best for Aesthetics feels like a dream. I’ve poured my heart into this business, and to have that seen and celebrated is truly incredible.”
Having worked in the beauty and aesthetics industry for over six years, Kirsty originally ran her business from rented salon spaces before opening her dedicated home clinic in Tuxford.
Since going full-time in December 2024, the clinic has flourished thanks in large part to a loyal local client base and growing demand for her natural, luxury treatments.
KIRO Aesthetics specialises in natural-looking dermal fillers, skin boosters, anti-wrinkle treatments, advanced facials, and body contouring.
The clinic has recently relaunched lash and brow treatments, and Kirsty is focused on continued growth, education, and innovation in the industry.
The business owner added: “I started this business to create a luxury, welcoming space—free from the pressure and intimidation of traditional salons.
“Everything we offer is bespoke, based on the individual’s face, lifestyle and goals.
“Our focus will always be on confidence-boosting treatments that enhance rather than change.”
While entering the awards was a leap of faith for Kirsty, it was her clients who pushed her to apply. “I’ve always admired these awards from afar but never thought I could be one of the finalists.
“It was my clients who encouraged me, and I’m so glad I listened.
“Their support has been overwhelming, sharing the news, sending kind messages, and cheering me on every step of the way.”
Kirsty, who has lived in the county her whole life said there is a lot of talent and heart in the community and that her nomination proves that people don’t need to be in a big city to deliver ‘high-quality, transformative results’.
Looking ahead, Kirsty hopes to expand her business’s treatment offerings and continue delivering safe, effective, and scientifically backed services.
