Beaumond House Hospice Care's charity shops in Newark, Southwell and Collingham re-open
The three charity shops operated by Beaumond House Hospice Care in Newark, Southwell and Collingham have re-opened.
Retail manager Gary White said the shops were a critical part of the charity’s fundraising so to be a step closer to normal was great news.
“It will be wonderful to have the shops open again and to welcome back our team members, customers and supporters,” he said.
“We could not operate our shops without the generous donation of goods for sale from our supporters and we are so grateful for this.
“We will have plans in place to accept donations on specific days so we can comply with guidance and keep everyone covid-safe.”
The Newark shop will be open this week Monday to Friday (apart from Thursday) 9am to 2pm. Donations will be accepted at the shop on Tuesday and Friday.
Collingham is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm, donations accepted at the shop on Friday; with Southwell open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 2pm, donations to be confirmed.
More information will be on Beaumond House website and social media pages.
A fundraiser has restarted yard sales at his home for Beaumond House.
James Talbot of 168 Devon Road, Newark, will hold sales Monday to Saturday, 10am to 7pm, and Sunday, 10am to 5pm, until May 12.
The sales will then continue on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
He will also be continuing with live sing-alongs on Facebook.
