Coronavirus: Carparks managed by Newark and Sherwood District Council are now free of charge to assist key workers and residents
All carparks managed by Newark and Sherwood District Council are now free of charge.
The district council said it hoped the move would assist key workers and residents needing to run essential errands during the pandemic.
It has also thanked the community for its support at this time and those going above and beyond to reduce the spread and impact of coronavirus.
The council said people should continue to follow Government advice and only travel for essential work, shop for necessities or to pick up medication.
