Woman hosted charity coffee mornings and afternoon teas at her Newark house in aid of Breast Cancer

A woman has raised £400 at a three-day fundraising event at her home.

Helen Pevler hosted coffee mornings and afternoon tea to fundraise for Breast Cancer.

More than 60 people showed up at Helen’s home throughout the three days, with the first day being the busiest.

It was really nice, there were families coming in and people from the Salvation Army coming for the afternoon tea on Wednesday (first day).

“I usually fundraise for Dementia and Alzheimer’s but I got an email saying if I would like to have a go and I said yes, especially because breast cancer has been so out all of August.”

Helen will be hosting another fundraising event closer to the end of the year for Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
