All smiles for Bullpit Road Nursery's tenth birthday celebrations in Balderton
Children dressed up in their best to celebrate their nursery’s anniversary.
Dressed in smart shirts and party dresses, little ones at Bullpit Road Nursery, Balderton, got involved in lots of activities to mark the tenth birthday.
A cake sale was held outside during drop-off and pick-up times so parents and other schoolchildren could stop by to get some treats.
Many also had a bounce about on the bouncy castle before tucking into their buffet dinner.
Nursery manager Catherine Whitlock, who has been at Bullpit for eight years, said the atmosphere throughout the day was fun, happy and positive.
She added that it was also a welcome treat after having to close several times through the coronavirus pandemic.
“We encouraged the children to wear their best and favourite party clothes for the occasion,” said Catherine.
“The children were so excited and hyper, and looking forward to celebrating. It was a lovely day.”
