Nottinghamshire Police appeal for information after arson took place at War Memorial Recreation Group, Southwell

Police are appealing for information following a small fire at a town park.

Nottinghamshire Police officers attended War Memorial Recreation Ground in Memorial Drive, Southwell on Friday (March 28) around 12.25pm.

Southwell Town Council is also asking for information on the fly-tipping and arson.

The police are asking anyone who saw what happened or has any information that could assist their enquiries to call 101, quoting incident 292 of 28 March 2025.
