Appeal over luggage theft

British Transport Police would like to speak to this man after a bag was stolen from a train travelling between Edinburgh and London.

Shortly before 7.30pm on Thursday, December 28, a man took a case from the luggage rack as the train approached Newark Northgate.

He was seen on CCTV taking a laptop and other items from the case and leaving it in the toilets.

He then caught a train towards Lincoln or London.

Officers would like to speak to the man in this image as it is believed he may have information which would help the investigation.
