Argos on Cartergate, Newark, reopens to public after long wait following coronavirus pandemic

A high street retailer in Newark has reopened after what was a long wait for the public.

Argos, on Cartergate, finally got back to business on Wednesday following its closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Shoppers were eager to see Argos' doors open again, with other familiar names having reopened weeks before.

Argos told the Advertiser in August it was working on a phased approach to reopening its stores.
