B&M Bargains looks to be moving into Northgate Retail Park in Newark.
The company has a public notice in this week's Advertiser in which it says it has applied to Newark and Sherwood District Council for a premises' licence for a B&M store in the former Carpetright/Poundstretcher stores on the Northgate Retail Park.
A premises' licence is necessary as B&M sells alcohol.
It has requested approval for seven days a week from 7am to 11pm.
B&M Bargains has been approached for comment.
It is not known at this time whether the store would be in addition to the one off Victoria Street in Newark or replace it.
