Jayne Darling sang classics from the 1940s and 1950s, giving everyone the chance to sing, dance and tap their feet to their vintage favourites.

Trish Smith, the home’s general manager, said: “We were delighted to be able to hold our summer fair. It was an incredible day full of laughter, smiles and dancing.

“We missed hosting it last year so this year we wanted to make it even bigger and better than previous years. It’s also a great opportunity for us to bring our residents and the community together.

“I have an incredible team behind me and those not working on the day, came along to the event and spent the afternoon singing and dancing with residents. The staff at Red Roofs devoted their time to planning this event and I am so proud of what they achieved.
