A farm that supplies wheat exclusively for the bakers, Hovis, will open to the public today in the first of a series of national initiatives by the famous brand.
Farmer Mr Dean Broadberry will welcome people to Roewood Farm, Winkburn, for an opportunity to learn more about where Hovis bread comes from and get an insight into farming life.
Mr Broadberry, 38, is the third generation of his family to farm at Roewood Farm, which is owned by the Winkburn Estate.
The family’s link with Hovis began 30 years ago when Mr Broadberry’s father, Mr James Broadberry, started supplying wheat to the firm.
