Newark: Ballet students at AJ's School of Dance accepted onto Ballet Associate Programme
Three ballet students have been accepted onto a Ballet Associate Programme after successful auditions.
Kaela Egan, Ruby Tilford and Kyle-Rose McCarthy have all been accepted onto Mark Hindle's Ballet Associate Programme following auditions.
The girls, who all study dance at AJ's School of Dance have just completed their first monthly class on the intensive programme.
Course instructor Mark Hindle studied at the Northern Ballet School and is now a Royal Ballet Dancer in his last year teacher training at the Royal Ballet on their teaching diploma, and as a dancer Mark has experience dancing for multiple West End shows, cruises and musical gala's, in addition to adjudicating for the 2020 Dance World Cup.
The associate programme is for students who have Grade 3 or above in Ballet, and will help them further develop their skills and technique as the programme consists of ballet classes based on the Royal Ballet School's methodology of training.
Amy-Jane Matthews, of AJ's School of Dance, said: "This was an amazing opportunity for the girls and we are thrilled to see how they progress with this added training behind them."
