Broadcaster Frances Finn was among those ordained at Southwell Minster over the weekend.
The long-standing BBC Radio Nottingham broadcaster is among a diverse group of men and women that includes teachers, a missionary, a consultant anaesthetist, a researcher, a charity worker, a biomedical statistician and a football fan.
The ordinations were led by the The Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham, Paul Williams, and the new Bishop of Sherwood, Andy Emerton, in one of the first acts of his new role since he was consecrated at York Minster.
Fran has been a BBC radio presenter for more than 20 years and will continue to broadcast on Radio Nottingham and Notts TV. She is married to Gerry, and has a daughter, Florence, 9.
