Bingham Enterprise Centre units now available to rent with free business advice

The new Bingham Enterprise Centre, close to the new Bingham Arena Leisure Centre on Chapel Lane in the town, will open offices later this year.

The centre will have free access to business advice funding provided by the European Regional Development Fund.

Insan Farooqui, an experienced business adviser from East Midlands Chamber, will be offering a wide variety of support, training and networking opportunities.

The business adviser has been working in the area for over 15 years and has helped start-ups, SMEs and large companies across many industry sectors.

He said: “The new Bingham Enterprise Centre is an exciting opportunity for businesses in the area that are looking to either get started or scale up and I’m delighted to be able to support their journey by offering assistance to companies across Rushcliffe.

“Whether it’s managing people, accessing finance or incorporating a business plan, there is always an area of running a business that could be aided by having an external voice to call on.”

The project is receiving £1.675m of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.

Insan Farooqui added: “There is plenty of business support out there but sometimes it can be difficult to understand where to begin, so my role is to work with them on a one-to-one basis to help them navigate and find the most suitable services for their individual needs.”

The upcoming offices at Enterprise Centre will provide 12 self-contained high spec fibre connected office suites over two floors ranging in size from 47 square metres (506 square feet) to 108 square metres (1,163 square feet) with dedicated parking.

The buildings will be designed focused on energy saving, having features such as air source heat pumps, water efficiency measures, LED lighting and photovoltaic panels on the roofs.
