Body of a man found in watercourse

A 41-year-old man has been found dead in a watercourse in Lowdham.

Police were called to Cockerbeck Brook, in Station Road, just after 7am today.

Detective Inspector Ash Wilson said: “Our enquiries are now focused on establishing the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

“We are also seeking to ensure all of his relatives have been notified and the appropriate support is provided to them.”
