Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue teams are in attendance of a waste fire in Newark Northgate area

Multiple fire crews are at the scene of an industrial waste fire in Newark.

They were called to the Northgate area following reports of a big black cloud of smoke.

Three fire engines were reported to be in attendance.

The fire services advised people to avoid the area and keep windows and doors closed.

Traffic is currently slow in the area.
