Newark British Heart Foundation appeals for winter warmers
A charity shop has made an appeal for seasonal donations.
Mik Parkin, British Heart Foundation area manager, said: “We are desperately needing jumpers, coats, jackets and all winter warmers in Newark. We’re facing a big problem over winter this year.
“Normally people donate the jumpers we need all through the year but as we’ve been closed for lockdown so long in the last 18 months, we’ve got very little saved up for winter.
“You can drop donations off by car too. Just go to the back of the store which is sign posted or call us for a free collection on 01636 676563.”
Located in St Marks shopping centre, the shop would welcome any good quality items such as winter warmers and any homewares and ornaments.
