Farndon Brownies' Promise performance steals the show




Members of Farndon Brownies enjoyed a special part of their journey after testing their nerve with a performance on the stage.

The 1st Farndon Brownies took part in a 'Promise' performance at Newark Palace Theatre, which featured Brownies new and old.

Emily Hobbs said: “Our Brownies did fantastic by getting up on stage to deliver their promise and sing a song.

"We are really proud of them all as getting up on stage isn’t an easy thing to do and especially at a young age.

"This is a momentous part of a Brownie Guide’s life and one that they will never forget.

"Our Brownies were presented with a shiny new trefoil badge and certificate by Brown Owl (Jacquie Pounder) and Barn Owl (Emily) to officially welcome them."

Afterwards they celebrated with cupcakes made by one of the Brownies.

Girls can become Brownies from the age of seven.
