Readers urged to look out for Bubblegum the cockatiel who's missing in Balderton

A schoolboy's pet cockatiel Bubblegum is lost in Balderton.

Bubblegum was last seen yesterday (Monday) at 3pm, after which he escaped from his cage.

Kerry Gabbitas, of Balderton, said her son Luca was very upset and missing his best friend.

She said: "We have had Bubblegum for two years.

"He was very clever and opened his own cage door and escaped."
