Van used to ram police vehicles during incident in Southwell

A van was used to ram police vehicles during an incident earlier this morning.
No officers were hurt during the incident, which happened at roughly 3am in Southwell, however, the thieves managed to escape police presence.
Officers said enquires are ongoing.
"The van was spotted by local response officers and the thieves attempted to ram police vehicles before the occupants made off in another vehicle," said a police spokesperson.
"Thankfully, all the officers involved are safe.
"The owner will get their van back when we have finished our enquiries.
"Great result so far, but there is more work to be done."
